Plant Manager (f/m), Mexico

You are a technical generalist willing to transform a start-up mission into a successful operation.

 

Your challenge:

You are responsible for the setup of the plant as Project Manager, carrying about all the possible aspects of a setting up a plant. You lead from the start the Head of Administration with whom you will build the Plant Management, as the operations has been successfully setup. In the operation phase you will be responsible for the Production Department. As it remains a start-up operation you will be involved in all technical aspects also consisting of very operational tasks as for example the planning of production or educating the employees in the production. You will also take care of a proper technology and know-how transfer from the lead plant in Switzerland.

 

Your profile:

You are having a technical degree on applied university level or equivalent and ideally a further education in business management. Proven experience in setting up an operation is a must as well as experience in leading a production and/or operations, preferably in the stamping, tooling and assembly environment. Knowhow in plastic injection molding is a plus. You are familiar with the requirements of the Automotive Industry (IATF 16949 and VDA 6.3). As a passionate Leader with intercultural experience you know how to manage the potential risks occurring with that. You are ideally having an above green belt certification. ERP System know-how in particular SAP is a big plus, thus fluent Business English and Spanish is a must.
